In this New Year (our one year Anniversary), all of us at T Shirt Atelier remain committed to our Sustainable Brand Criteria; and pledge to continue to provide the best curated collection of sustainable and ethical brands…brands that minimize fashion waste, reduce their carbon footprint, provide safe working conditions and fair wages for every single person along their supply chain, and contribute positively to their community.

One of the biggest contributors to waste (as discussed in our previous Journals) is throw-away fast fashion. This kind of fashion is out of fashion. According to USPIRG, “the environmental impacts of single-use outfits are particularly worrisome.” “Right now is also a great time for consumers to reevaluate the impact of clothing consumption habits.”
Let us all dedicate ourselves this year and say farewell to fast fashion and embrace slow fashion. Vivienne Westwood said it best, ”Buy less, choose well, make it last.”
