SPRING! Feelings of renewal that awaken our senses of sight, smell, hearing, taste, touch, and arouse our sensibilities to the changes of the season. Use this sense of renewal to provide inspiration and energy to refresh and rejuvenate body, mind and spirit to propel your plans forward.
Spring is always the perfect time to “clear out the cobwebs”, both physically, mentally, and metaphorically. Here are some tips to help you put a spring in your step, and renew your senses:
- Swap out Winter meals for Spring dishes: seasonal fruits and vegetables are a great way to ensure your diet has a varied supply of vitamins and nutrients, and awaken your taste buds.
- Get out and get active: exercise benefits body, mind, and can also create new social connections when joining others in outdoor activities such as walking, running, biking or joining a sports league.
- Reorganize and refresh your wardrobe: get to know the Spring clothing in your closet again, keep what works and donate what does not. Renew your sense of style with clothing in a new color or pattern. If you are planning on doing some spring shopping, think sustainably. Purchase a few high quality and sustainably made garments that will last, and will extend your existing wardrobe by creating even more outfits than before.
